Rain showers, thunderstorms expected Tuesday could make for wet Nationals World Series Watch Party

Be ready for afternoon rain and thunderstorms on Tuesday. FOX 5’s Mike Thomas says the morning will begin with patchy drizzle before steadier showers move in.

Be ready for rain and thunderstorms to move in during the afternoon hours Tuesday -- which could dampen the skies around Nationals Park -- but not the Natitude inside!

FOX 5's Mike Thomas says the morning will begin with patchy drizzle before steadier showers move in. The steadiest of the rain should move into the D.C. region around 2 p.m. Mike says he's hopeful that the storms will begin to move out sometime during the 8 p.m. hour giving us a somewhat dry second half of the evening.

If you're going to Nationals Park for the World Series Watch Party -- be prepared for rain -- especially for the start.

Temperatures on Tuesday will be mild at around 68 degrees. Wednesday looks sunny and nice with more mild temperatures near 66 degrees and dry skies. Some clouds on Friday and Saturday with the chance for showers on Sunday. You can watch the World Series on FOX beginning tonight!
