Who called for force on protesters at Lafayette Park?

Protesters were tear-gassed and hit with rubber bullets during the peaceful protest in front of St. John’s Church in Lafayette Park in DC Monday evening. The head pastor at St. John’s Church in Georgetown was also in that crowd. She wrote about her experience online in a post that’s since gone viral.
