Virginia shuts down schools for the academic year, orders non-essential businesses to close

Virginia Governor Ralph Northam ordered all schools to remain closed for the remainder of the academic year, and also issued a mandate shutting down non-essential businesses while the state grapples with controlling the deadly coronavirus outbreak.
