Extreme heat: Scorching temperatures across DC region could push heat index as high as 105 degrees

The scorching temperatures across the D.C. area will be in the mid-to-upper 90s on Wednesday but it will feel even hotter as sweltering heat and humidity push heat index values upwards to between 100 and 105 degrees.
