City of Fairfax Mayor arrested; accused of trading drugs for sex while reportedly running meth ring

Police say the Mayor of the City of Fairfax has been arrested after he allegedly tried to trade drugs for sex while reportedly running a methamphetamine ring operation. 50-year-old Richard “Scott” Silverthorne holds the office of Mayor of the City of Fairfax, Virginia and was also employed as a substitute teacher for Fairfax County Public Schools.
