Extreme heat blankets the DMV

We are amid round two of a heat wave but that’s not stopping some people from making their way to the National Mall. While there weren’t too many people out there were still some willing to brave the heat, they’re walking in the shade, drinking plenty of water and cooling off at nearby water fountains.
