D.C. Council to vote on bill dedicating $515M to Capital One arena project

The D.C. Council’s vote to approve $515 million to improve Capital One arena ran into some delays as protestors interputed the council’s work today. The deal to keep both the Capitals and Wizards in the District has the votes to pass. However, the deal is moving forward just as some district-wide programs may face budget cuts this week.
