DC council member introduces 'Showing Up for Students Amendment Act' to tackle absenteeism

Reports indicate that 60% of high school students in D.C. are chronically absent, missing at least 10% of instructional days within a school year. D.C. leaders including the mayor are introducing legislation to tackle absenteeism and looking at ways to hold parents accountable. FOX 5's Nana-Sentuo Bonsu has the story.
