Former DC council member Michael A. Brown running for Congress

A former D.C. council member who pleaded guilty to a federal bribery charge years ago is returning to politics. Michael Brown has launched a congressional bid to challenge longtime Delegate Eleanor Holmes Norton in the June Democratic primary. He would be the first relatively well-known challenger against Norton in a long time.
