Lorton man assaults dog, rams cars, and leads police on wild 12-mile chase before crashing

Police say on Tuesday, Daniel John Sol assaulted someone's dog before threatening to kill them. After that, the Lorton man allegedly began ramming people's vehicles and driving recklessly on the roadway. Officers responded and the suspect immediately fled, which prompted a pursuit. After a 12.5-mile pursuit, the suspect crashed into a tree and was taken into custody.
