HHS asks DEA to reclassify cannabis as lower risk
The White House says it wants federal drug officials to consider lifting longstanding restrictions on cannabis. The legal marijuana industry says it’s been held back by regulations that curtail their business. But others say lifting those restrictions could increase impaired driving.
