3 men convicted in 1984 murder of Catherine Fuller plan to ask Biden for pardon
In 1984, 49-year-old Catherine Fuller was brutally beaten, raped and murdered in an alley off of H Street in Northeast. The story of the housewife and mother captivated the city and 17 people were arrested — the highest number of arrests in a single murder in D.C.'s history. Eight men were ultimately convicted with zero evidence at the trial. Three of the men who have maintained their innocence from the beginning have completed their sentences and now plan to ask President Joe Biden for a pardon. These are their stories.
