Anne Arundel County Public Library hosts oyster reef-building program

Rebuilding healthy local waterways is a team effort. The Coastal Conservation Association and the Anne Arundel County Public Library recently hosted their second annual oyster reef-building program and FOX 5 photojournalist Ama Arthur-Asmah was there! “Coastal Conservation Association is a nationwide organization. We are one of many chapters that have coastline here in Maryland," said Jesse Howe, habitat and education specialist with CCA Maryland. "I would encourage everyone to look into CCA Maryland, in which we are always organizing events such as this so that the community can be involved in the health of the bay, cleaning out our local waterways, education, conservation, and advocacy.” For more info visit www.ccamd.org/what-we-do/
