DCPS students get scuba diving certifications

New scuba certifications were handed out Monday to seven D.C. high schoolers. They are the first class to be PADI open water certified after the program was dormant for years. Post-pandemic, DCPS wanted to get kids more engaged with the outdoors. Photojournalist Ama Arthur-Asmah was there to capture some moments of the special day.
