Preserving the Anacostia River

Dozens of environmentally friendly events took place around the DMV in honor of Earth Day. In Cheverly, several volunteers came out to the Anacostia watershed to pick up trash, serve their community and enjoy the river. FOX 5's Ayesha Khan spoke with Gabe Horchler — a volunteer with the Anacostia Watershed Society — who says how humans have taken advantage of waterways by polluting them and not giving them proper care.
