Family of Bijan Ghaisar reaches $5 million settlement with government

The family of Bijan Ghaisar has reached a $5 million settlement with the government. The settlement ends a lawsuit the family filed against U.S. Park Police. Back in 2017, Ghaiser was shot 10 times and killed by officers following a low-speed chase in Fairfax County. Federal prosecutors denied charging the officers involved. A federal judge must still approve the settlement.
