The National Deaf Life Museum highlights America's rich, deaf history
April is National Deaf History Month and D.C. is home to a large deaf community -- thanks in part to Gallaudet University. Gallaudet is a one-of-a-kind liberal arts school for the deaf and signing community. Photojournalist Ama Arthur-Asmah takes you to the Deaf Life Museum on campus to hear just one of the endless amount of stories about the District's deaf history.
