Loudoun County Public Schools starts national search for superintendent

The Loudoun County School Board has hired a search firm to lead its efforts to find a new superintendent. Arizona-based GR Recruiting will head up a national search. Former superintendent Scott Ziegler was fired in December following the release of a grand jury report criticizing school leaders over the handling of two sex assaults committed by the same student. The board plans to have a new superintendent in place before the start of the 2023-2024 school year.
