DC statehood bill introduced in Senate

The push for D.C. statehood has some new momentum after Delaware Senator Tom Carper introduced a statehood bill last year, and D.C. Delegate Eleanor Holmes Norton introduced the same bill in the house this year. The DMV Zone spoke with Joe Messina and Rich Nichols to learn more about both sides of the issue.
