Egg prices impacting local businesses
The cost of eggs is through the roof. Prices in December were up nearly 60% over the prior year. But experts say inflation isn't the only thing at fault. The bird flu killed more than 43 million egg-laying hens last year, making eggs harder to find. FOX 5 photojournalist Jesse Burkett-Hall talked to the owner of Cracked Eggery about how the prices are impacting business.
