St. Mary's County appoints first African American Prosecutor

Ashley Sowls was appointed and sworn in as the county's first African American prosecutor. She is a graduate of the Charlotte School of Law in Charlotte, NC. She is an experienced prosecutor specializing in special victims' cases.
