Capitol Riot hearing: US Capitol Police officer recounts clashes with Jan. 6 rioters

U.S. Capitol Police Officer Caroline Edwards, who was injured defending the Capitol against Jan. 6 rioters, testified about the clashes between the attackers and U.S. Capitol Police. Edwards described the group of rioters being led by Proud Boys members. She also described the scary moments as officers tried to hold off the attackers, who eventually overpowered the officers and breached the Capitol.
