Allegations of sexual assault prompt cancellation of school dance

A dance slated for later this month, called the “Vike-a-Thon,” was cancelled by Walt Whitman High School’s principal on Tuesday after an article released by the school’s online student paper referred to the dance as an event “ripe for sexual abuse.”
