Young Boy Gets Surprise Gift from Panthers
Rock Hill, SC - Josh Bronson is 8-years old, and has already gone through two surgeries, Chemotherapy, and Radiation. That's because Josh and his Mom Jessica found out he had a Cancerous brain tumor, that was surgically removed back in April, but came back. Now, it has spread to the front of his brain, and his treatments don't seem to be curing the Cancer.
Jessica Bronson said, "He understands that if we have to go take a medicine, we have to go - he's been awesome." There has been one thing helping Josh and his family get through the prognosis, the Carolina Panthers. Jessica said, "The Panthers! - they have been so awesome, and keep winning."
But never in a million years did Jessica think they would come home late Friday night, to find a big envelope addressed to Josh, from the Carolina Panthers. Low and behold, the envelope was from the undefeated Panthers, including a signed football and picture of Cam Newton, tons of Panthers swag, and a letter from Ron Rivera, encouraging Josh to "Keep Pounding."
The motto of the Panthers is similar to Josh's motto, keep pounding, and keep fighting. It's just the thing this family needed to cheer them up, when times are tough.
