WASHINGTON - Kate Davidson, the economic policy reporter for the Wall Street Journal, joins us On The Hill. Davidson has been tracking the budget deal that’s on-track to be passed without any issues. So how did this happen when Democrats and Republicans have been at odds for so long? It is a 2-year deal to suspend the debt ceiling and both sides received some of what they wanted. Davidson also lets us in on the surprising behind-the-scenes negotiating team switch that the White House made to help hammer out the deal.
