Regina Yurrita
Regina Yurrita was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She recently moved from San Diego to DC. In San Diego she focused on covering stories affecting the southern border, including the end of title 42. She eventually became the early morning news reporter where she covered breaking news and crime.
Regina started her career in Palm Springs during the pandemic, where she focused on stories about farm laborers.
Regina is the type to easily talk about current events and politics, even at the dinner table. In her off time, she likes to go to yoga, is into reading and baking sourdough. She’s happy that her starter made it with her from SD to DC.
Most importantly, Regina is excited to be a part of the FOX 5 DC team. She is looking forward to getting to know her colleagues and the wonderful community of the DMV area.
