
Homa Bash
Homa Bash joined Fox 5 DC in June 2023. After spending time reporting and anchoring all over the country, she is thrilled to call the nation's capitol home.
Homa went to the University of Arkansas for undergrad, and received her Master's from Northwestern University. She has worked at KTVZ in Bend, Oregon; KTAB in Abilene, Texas; KTUL in Tulsa, Oklahoma; KXAS in Dallas, Texas; and WEWS in Cleveland, Ohio.
Homa has won 10 regional Emmys, as well as multiple AP and Society of Professional Journalist awards throughout her career. She is grateful to have covered an incredibly wide array of stories, including protests and police-involved shootings that received national attention, presidential debates and the Republican National Convention, and the memorable Cleveland Cavaliers championship run.
But she is most proud of her family — an amazing husband and three adorable children: 2-year-old twin girls and a 3-month-old baby boy! And let's not forget their puppy, Queso.
Outside the newsroom and being a busy mom of 3, you can find Homa out on hiking trails, looking for the best pizza spots, or with her head buried in a book.
