Woman speaks out after vehicle stolen with puppy inside in Prince George's County
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. - One family in Prince George's County is pleading for the return of their stolen dog and vehicle from a 7-eleven parking lot.
The incident occurred around 10:20 p.m. on Tuesday evening at a 7-eleven on Silver Hill Road in Suitland, Maryland.
According to the family, the dog, a five-year-old Yorkshire poodle mix named Donovan, was left inside a Hyundai while the driver ran into 7-eleven for a few minutes. Just a few minutes later another car pulled into the lot, gets into the Hyundai and takes off.
The driver, Miekala Singleton, had no idea until she came outside a minute or two later.
"My fear is that whoever took my truck is tired of him... enough to do something crazy. But at the same time, I'm trying to hold onto hope... and positivity. He's quite literally my life... and my world. I love him with all my heart," said Singleton.
The vehicle that was stolen is a Hyundai Santa Fe, silver, with Virginia tags. Singleton has a message for whoever stole her vehicle and Donovan.
"Please bring him back. He is everything to me. I can't... I can't live without him. My mom can't live without him. My auntie can't live without him."
Anyone with any information on this incident is asked to contact police.
