Woman falls from window, suspect in custody
Authorities say a woman fell at least seven stories from a building in Northwest Thursday evening after a domestic dispute.
WASHINGTON - Authorities say a woman fell at least seven stories from a building in Northwest Thursday evening after a domestic dispute.
A suspect, who police say returned to the scene "distraught," is in custody.
Upon investigating the incident, the Metropolitan Police Department issued a critical missing child alert for 1-year-old Kylee Palmer who is believed to be related to the suspect and the woman who fell.

Police later found the child with a family member.
During a press conference at the scene, the Commander of the Second District, Duncan Bedlion, said the woman who fell out of the window was bound by "some type of rope tied around her legs."
Commander Bedlion said the 911 call came in at 7:06 p.m. after the woman fell in the 4500 block of Connecticut Ave NW.

The woman was transported to a local hospital in critical condition, Bedlion added, and a firearm was also found within the apartment.
MPD says the woman is currently conscious and breathing.
Police are actively investigating the incident.
