NORTH BETHESDA, Md. - A water main break that flooded parts of Rockville Pike caused morning delays Thursday in Montgomery County.
The break was reported near the intersection with Strathmore Avenue in the area of Georgetown Prep School.
Some lanes in the area were closed as road and utility crews worked on the repair. Those lanes have since reopened.
Officials announced on Thursday afternoon that the repair work was complete, and water service was restored to the area.
