Crews are at the scene after a vehicle became stuck in high water on Rhode Island Avenue, Northeast in D.C. Thursday afternoon.

WASHINGTON - Crews responded to the scene on Rhode Island Avenue, Northeast in the District Thursday afternoon after multiple vehicle became mired in flood waters.

Flooding has hit multiple communities in the region on Thursday – including parts of D.C. proper, Montgomery County and Alexandria – as heavy rain swept through the area.
