VIDEO: Tractor-trailer drives through dangerous flood waters in South Carolina
SUMTER, S.C. - Unbelievable video shows a tractor-trailer driver plowing through a South Carolina road left flooded by historic rains. In the video, the driver of the semi can be seen pushing through in water that nearly covers the hood of the truck and totally covers the wheels.
The video was posted to YouTube on Sunday, October 4, by user Charlton Mcleod and was taken in Sumter, South Carolina.
The truck driver complete navigates the flooded road and makes it to a dry part of the road on the other side.
South Carolina was expecting sunshine Tuesday after days of inundation, but it will still take weeks for the state to return to normal after being pummeled by a historic rainstorm.
