Video shows shootout that led to the death of a Prince George's County police officer
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (FOX 5 DC) - The Prince George's County State's Attorney's office has released new video showing a shootout in Prince George's County that led to the death of a police officer.
The video was released after Michael Ford was sentenced on Thursday to 195 years in prison.
Ford was convicted of murder in the friendly fire killing of Detective Jacai Colson in 2016.
The video shows Ford outside the Palmer Park Police Headquarters pacing the street and, soon after that, a viewer can hear the first shots fired.
Ford's two younger brothers, Malik and Elijah Ford, drove him to the police station to record the March 2016 attack on a cell phone.
