Surveillance video: Model home murder

An Anne Arundel County realtor’s killer pleaded guilty on Thursday – and on Friday authorities released surveillance video showing him approaching the model home with his weapon drawn.

Two days later, police had taken a suspect into custody in Baltimore.

This week, Dillon Nicholas Augustnyiak, 18, pleaded guilty to first-degree murder and using a firearm in the commission of a violent felony.

He faces life in prison.

Police were called to a model home in the 7500 block of Newmanstown Drive in Hanover where they found Wilson inside suffering from gunshot wounds. The police report states a 911 operator received a call and could only hear heaving breathing and then heard someone in the background ask "Where is the money?" and "Who are you talking to?"

Wilson, who was from Annapolis, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Augustnyiak is set to be sentenced on Oct. 23.
