(NEW YORK - FOX5NY) There were scary moments as police tackled and arrested a man who went into the flagship Apple store near Central Park with a sword and threatened himself. It happened about 4 p.m. Friday afternoon.
Police say the man entered the store on 5th Ave in Midtown and was confronted by security.
Video obtained by Fox 5 News showed the man as he ran out of the store. He put the sword up to his body and made statements for the cops to stay back. NYPD officers ran up and subdued the man.

He was put into an ambulance and taken to Bellevue Hospital. No charges have been filed yet.
No one inside the store was harmed but people were shaken up by the incident, especially with the heightened state of security in the city after the recent terror attacks in Paris.
