WASHINGTON - Surveillance cameras were rolling as a bold ATM theft took place in the District.
D.C. police are looking for two persons of interest and a vehicle of interest in connection with the theft, which happened around 9 p.m. on September 12 in the 2200 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue in Southeast.
In the video released by police, a man wearing a motorcycle helmet can be seen walking to the ATM, ripping it from the wall and pushing it out of the store. The second person of interest held the door open for the other man. The ATM was loaded into a white vehicle, which police are also looking for.
A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
