WASHINGTON - A man was found shot to death Monday afternoon in a wooded area in Temple Hills, Prince George's County police say.
Officers responded to a reported shooting about 3:15 p.m. Monday in the 7100 block of Temple Hills Road and found a man who had been shot, police said.
The man, identified as 24-year-old Timothy Demetric Turner of Rose Marie Drive in Fort Washington, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police do not believe this was a random act.
A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case. Authorities are asking anyone with information about the case to call 1-866-411-TIPS.
