Vehicle fire closes portion of I-370 in Montgomery County

GAITHERSBURG, Md. - A portion of Interstate-370 in Montgomery County was closed due to a vehicle fire Monday morning.

The crash happened around 6:15 a.m. along the eastbound lanes near MD-355.

All traffic was temporarily being diverted to Shady Grove Road.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the crash is not known.
