HYATTSVILLE, Md. - A man is wanted for a sex offense he committed in Hyattsville while driving for Uber, according to authorities.=
Hyattsville police said 43-year-old Ergun Gunes committed a sex offense in the area of Queens Chapel Road and Hamilton Street at about 11 p.m. on June 26.
Officials did not elaborate or provide details about the offense Gunes is accused of committing.
Police said Gunes has since stopped working for Uber. He was described by officials as a man standing at about 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 165 pounds.
At the time of the offense, police said Gunes was driving at dark colored 2015 Toyota RAV4 with Virginia license plate No. VTE8919.
