Two people have been found after a search by authorities, after a boating accident on the Potomac River, according to Maryland Natural Resources Police.

Investigators say two people were seen in the water after a 15-foot bass fishing boat overturned at the mouth of Mattawoman Creek in Charles County.

Police say they were able to recover one of the two boaters Sunday afternoon and found the second person early Sunday evening. The Coast Guard was involved in the search.

"Thanks to Charles County Dive Rescue and other partners for the fast recovery," says Maryland DNR police.

Investigators have not released any information on the people recovered.
