Turn your lunch break into a play break! Uber delivers kittens in DC

WASHINGTON - Feeling upset that it's not Friday yet? Uber has got you covered.

The company has launched a special, one-day promotion to help area kittens find forever homes by allowing users to request cats in addition to rides.

Some of the kittens dropped by The Loft to hang out with the Good Day DC crew and superstar singer Max Schneider.

To request a kitten, open your Uber app, tap the profile icon in the top left corner and select 'promotions.' Enter the promotion code DCKITTENS to unlock the special option.

You can request kittens between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. today. The $30 'snuggle fee' for your play time will support the Washington Humane Society.

And don't worry, if you just can't get enough of your furry visitor you can adopt him or her through the Washington Humane Society!

PRO TIP: Make sure you have a safe, enclosed space available before you request your kittens!
