Truck crashes into Germantown Chipotle restaurant; 1 injured

GERMANTOWN, Md. - A Montgomery County restaurant is cleaning up after a vehicle crashed through the front wall causing major damage Monday morning.

The two vehicle crash happened around 7:30 a.m. in the street near the Chipotle restaurant along Century Boulevard and Crystal Rock Drive in Germantown.

One of the vehicles, an Orkin truck, crashed into the front of the restaurant. The second vehicle remained in the street.

One adult was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. No customers were inside of the restaurant when the crash happened.

A building inspector will evaluate the structure. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
