Traffic alert: Tractor trailer crash causes Beltway delays

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - An earlier crash involving a tractor trailer is clearing, but it's still causing delays for commuters on the Capital Beltway.

Authorities say the crash happened on the Outer Loop just after University Boulevard in Montgomery County. The tractor trailer and the vehicles involved were moved to the side of the road and all lanes of the Beltway are back open. At one point, several lanes were shut down as a result, causing a four mile backup.
