The 'earthquake' off Florida's coast was likely Navy testing

A lot of people were shocked to hear that the U.S. Geological Survey detected an earthquake off of Volusia County's coastline. The U.S.G.S said the temblor was about 100 miles out in the Atlantic Ocean and registered 3.7 on the Richter Scale. That's considered a minor earthquake. But still, word of an earthquake that close to Florida shook a lot of people.

Seth Rowlands said, "I was shocked! You know you don't expect that over here. We just moved here from California so, you know, that's all you hear over there is earthquakes and, you know, not you're usual (in Florida)."

The U.S.G.S. website also showed another 3.7 magnitude quake just 22 miles away back on June 10th. But now FOX 35 has discovered the "earthquakes" were not really earthquakes. The shake seismologists measured were not caused by Mother Nature. They were actually caused by the U.S. Navy.
