Teen taken to hospital after near-drowning at Six Flags America
UPPER MARLBORO, Md. - A teen has been taken to a local hospital, officials say, after a near-drowning at Six Flags America.
Prince George's County Fire and EMS spokesman Mark Brady says the incident happened at a pool at the Amusement park in Upper Marlboro, Maryland on Wednesday afternoon.
Denise Stokes with Six Flags says a 14-year-old boy was rescued from our wave pool. He was reportedly treated by park and PGFD paramedics who responded immediately.
"The safety of our guests is always our highest priority," said Stokes in a statement.
Prince George's County Fire and EMS officials are investigating.
