Teen, 2 women recovering after shot in DC
WASHINGTON - Police say three people, including a teenage boy, are recovering after they were shot in Southeast, D.C.
The teen and two adult women were shot along the 800 block of Chesapeake Street around 10:15 p.m. Tuesday.
All of the victims are expected to survive.
There are no suspects or motives at this time. The investigation is continuing.
D.C. saw a spike in deadly violence over Memorial Day weekend, with 11 shootings and four homicides in just under 24 hours.
