ATLANTA - About 500 Thanksgiving turkeys are now in the hands of deserving Atlanta seniors and their families.
Mayor Kasim Reed joined Councilmember C.T. Martin and rap artist T.I. in the giveaway at the Adamsville Recreation Center Wednesday.
T.I.'s new non-profit Harris Community Works hosted this year's event.
Organizers also gave seniors produce including greens, apples, and carrots.
