An Anne Arundel County man is facing an array of charges for allegedly secretly recording men using a bathroom on the St. Mary's College campus and then uploading the videos to a pornography site.

Investigators say 20-year-old Timothy Bingley was a student at the college when he made the recordings.

Several victims have been identified and the St. Mary's County sheriff's office fears there are more.

"The recording devices are getting smaller and easier to conceal so definitely always be aware of your surroundings," said Julie Yingling of the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office.

Investigators say campus public safety contact them in May 2018, saying they'd received a complaint of a student on campus being unlawfully filmed inside various men's bathroom stalls.

Court documents say the videos - recorded between December 2017 and the following spring.

The titles of the videos are extremely graphic.

In a statement, St. Mary's College says Bingley is no longer a student and is not permitted on the property.

The sheriff's office says the videos Bingley allegedly posted have since been taken down.
They're warning people to be wary of hidden cameras in situations where they may be vulnerable.

"Always be aware of your surroundings especially when you're in a bathroom or fitting room. If you see anything suspicious, don't wait, report it immediately," Yingling said.
