Suspect in custody after woman stabbed at Union Station, police say
WASHINGTON - A suspect is in custody after a woman was stabbed at Union Station Saturday afternoon, police say.
Officers were called to the scene at 1:18 p.m. Upon arrival, they found the victim suffering from a stab wound.
She was taken to an area hospital conscious and breathing but suffering serious injuries.
The suspect in the stabbing was found nearby and was placed under arrest.
AMTRAK Police are handling this case with the support of First District Detectives, police say.
