WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - Police are searching for three people they say are connected to a disturbing shooting and assault that was captured on surveillance video at a restaurant in Northeast, D.C. earlier this year.
Officers say the incident happened on Sunday, January 27 around 12:07 a.m. in the 800 block of H Street. An argument led to one man pulling a gun and shooting another man inside of the establishment, investigators say. The victim was shot multiple times and much of the shooting was captured on surveillance video which was released by police.
Investigators say a second male suspect assaulted the victim who at one point can be seen struggling to fight back. A woman can also be seen in the video recovering a handgun police say was used in the shooting.
All three suspect fled the scene after the shooting, police say. The victim suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police ay 202-727-9099. A $10,000 reward to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the persons responsible for the shooting is being offered.
